Recently, we connected with one of our generation's most powerful preachers, the Rev. Dr. Dominique Robinson. a strong woman with a strong voice, Dominique brings fire to the pulpit as a preacher, and to classrooms and gatherings throughout the country as a burgeoning thought leader.  

Rev. Dr. Robinson has earned a B.A. in Government and Psychology from Georgetown University, Master of Divinity and Master of Theology, both from Candler School of Theology of Emory University.  She earned a Doctorate of Ministry degree in Gospel and Culture from Columbia Theological Seminary from Columbia Theological Seminary in May 2017. Her dissertation, “iHomiletic™: Preaching that Clicks,” focused on effective methods of preaching using social media linguistics as a successful attempt to reconnect Black millennials to the Black Church.

Dr. Robinson is the Beatitudes Society 2015 Brave Preacher Award recipient and a 2017-2018 Lewis Fellow.Dr. Robinson is a proud a member of Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  Presently, she serves as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor at Shaw Temple AME Zion Church (Smyrna, GA).
